FORT MILL - Richard Andrew Edington, 67, of Fort Mill, S.C., passed away Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012. He was born in Knoxville, Tenn., on April 15, 1945, to the late Woodrow and Nina Edington.

Preceding Richard in death are his parents, two brothers and two sisters.

Richard is survived by his wife of 44 years, Brenda Edington; his daughters, Lisa Bambic (Michael Carter) of Fort Mill and Rita Williams (Tommy Williams) of York; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and five brothers.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012, at Palmetto Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Mike Lowrey officiating. Burial will follow in Crown Memorial Park, Pineville, N.C.

The family will receive friends from 12 to 1 p.m. Saturday at Palmetto Funeral Home.
