Jerome NaderROCK HILL - Mr. Jerome Wendelin Nader, 81, passed away Monday, March 18, 2013, at Harbor Chase of Rock Hill. A Celebration of Life Service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, March 21, 2013, at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, with Father Augustin Guzman officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery with military honors conducted by the U.S Air Force and the Honor Team of Frank Roach Post #34 of the American Legion. A native of Waukesha, Wis., Jerome was the son of the late Frank and Myrtle Marks Nader and the widower of Genevieve Thew Nader. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War and retired as a supervisor with United Parcel Service. Jerome enjoyed fishing, golfing and spending time with his grandchildren. Surviving are his son, Scott Nader and his wife, Cathy of Rock Hill; three daughters, Cheryl Nader of Lake Wylie, S.C., Laura Wilson and her husband, Mike of Rock Hill and Michelle Kinion and her husband, Bob of Chester, S.C.; two brothers, Hans Nader and Warren Nader, both of Waukesha; his sister, Harriett Schuldt of Waukesha; five grandchildren, Travis Wilson, Adam Wilson, Melia Nader, Brian Wilson and Chad Nader; and his great-grandson, Maddox Wilson. In addition to his parents and wife, Jerome was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Rd., Rock Hill, SC 29732, and other times at the home of Scott and Cathy Nader, 4621 Amberside Dr., Rock Hill, SC 29732. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to , 4124 Clemson Blvd., Suite L, Anderson, SC 29621; Disabled American Veterans, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301; or to Hospice Care of South Carolina, 1420 Ebenezer Rd., Rock Hill, SC 29732. Condolences may be entered online at www.greenefuneralhome.net.
