Sybil BiggersYORK - Sybil Lowery Biggers, 76, of 727 Mason Dickson Road, died Monday, March 18, 2013, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, S.C. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at Filbert Presbyterian Church in America, with the Revs. Wallace Tinsley and Dave Hall officiating. Burial will be at Lakeview Memory Gardens in York, S.C. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at Bratton Funeral Home. Sybil was a daughter of the late William and Geneve Davidson Lowery. She was a member of Clover Christian Fellowship and worked as a sales clerk at Belk Department stores and the Firestone Co. Sybil loved to travel and went on many mission trips in various countries. While in India, she was able to meet Mother Teresa. She loved and enjoyed making friends and meeting new people. She is survived by her husband, Allen Biggers; son, Allen Jeffrey Biggers (Lisa) of Lugoff, S.C.; daughter, Myra Biggers of York, S.C.; brothers, Tommy Lowery and Hayward Lowery; sisters, Linda Gibbs and Rita Robinson; and grandchildren, Richard Moss, Matthew Biggers, Zack Biggers, Michael Biggers and Danielle Biggers.
