Danny Ray Carmack, 58, passed away at his home in Bahama on Monday, June 5, 2017. He was born in Durham to the late Gilbert and Jean Constance Armitage Carmack. In addition to his mother, he was also predeceased by a brother, Ronnie Carmack.
Mr. Carmack was employed with the City of Durham for 24 years as a Traffic Service Technician. He had a passion for the outdoors, hunting, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Mr. Carmack is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Ellis Carmack of Bahama; daughter, Megan Carmack of Bahama; son, Jason Carmack of Bahama; sister, Connie Carmack Aldridge (Wallace) of Leasburg; brother, Wayne Carmack (Janie) of Durham; grandchildren, Diana Canuto, Benjamin Carmack; and his special Shihtsu companion, Brittany.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 7th at 2:00 PM at Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church of Bahama. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

I am so sorry for your family's loss. Danny has been a customer of mine for the last 16 years and has become a friend in the process. I am so grateful to be able to have spent some time with him at the gun store just a few days before his sudden passing. Danny will be greatly missed by many including myself.
