Thelma Ganoung, 95, of Venice, FL, formerly of Memphis, TN passed away December 22, 2013. Thelma was born August 23, 1918 in Hamilton, OH to Sally (Tolley) and Robert Glen Snodgrass. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Ganoung, son David P. Ganoung of Albuquerque, NM and six siblings: Rowena Stare of Cincinnati, OH, Juanita Knorr, Gladys Hester, Donald, Robert, Jr. and Warren Snodgrass all of Hamilton, OH. Survivors include her sister, Sally Owens of Killen, AL, son, Edwin R. (Sylvia) Ganoung of Alpharetta, GA, two grandsons: Edwin R. and Andrew P. Ganoung. Thelma was an avid golfer and bridge player. She attended Trinity Presbyterian Church. Visitation will be from 4-6 PM, Friday, January 3 at Farley Funeral Home, Venice Chapel. Funeral Service will be at 10:30 AM, Saturday, January 4 at Trinity Presbyterian Church with burial immediately following at Venice Memorial Gardens.
