It is hard to believe that we have lost our dear friend Gerry. We so enjoyed all his visits with us up here in Vermont and urged him to come again every time we spoke. Don treasures all the memories of their walks to school and very long bike rides. Both our daughter and son also have fond memories of him as their Principal at Silas Dean. We send our most sincere sympathy to his family. He will never be forgotten!

A wonderful neighbor and a close friend who will be sadly missed. Gerry was one who could always be counted on for a helping hand. I always looked forward to his calls and his trips North. He was a great friend and teacher to my daughters; Lori and Heather. Sure will miss him.

I was so saddened to hear about Mr. Morrissey. He was a dear friend and neighbor, a wonderful teacher, principal and we had so many years of great memories. I will never forget the Misquamicut trips, the neighborhood antics, and the friendships he extended to me as I grew older and started my own family. I am just so sorry I missed his phone call at Christmas time...
My love and condolences to his family...
