On Sunday, March 3, 2013, Patricia Christie, 86, of Annapolis and formerly of Sarasota, FL, died at South River Health and Rehabilitation in Edgewater.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E. Christie, lead trombone player for the Naval Academy Band, the Sarasota Band and the Shriner's Band, and Vice President with Chas. H. Steffey Realty, Inc.
Patricia is survived by one son, Scott (Jeannie) Christie of Annapolis; one daughter, Judith Ann McCay (Juan) Salazar of Vista, CA; eight grandchildren, Justin, Bryan, Benjamin and Jonathan Christie and Daniel, Ian and David McCay and Michelle Salazar; also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Pine Shores Presbyterian Church in Sarasota at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 1850 York Road, Ste. D, Timonium, MD 21093. An online guestbook is available at www.kalasfuneralhomes.com.
