Frances Marie Conlin, 81, of Sarasota, FL., formerly of Westchester County, New York died on December 22, 2013 surrounded by her children.
She was born on January 3, 1932 in The Bronx, New York to Martha and Hans Timm and at an early age moved to Westchester County where she grew up and was educated.
She was the beloved mother of her children Robert Conlin, Jr., and his wife Joy of Somers, New York and her daughter Sally A. Bailey and her husband Brian of Sarasota, Florida.
Frances volunteered many years for the Westchester-Putnam Council, Boy Scouts of America for the coed division known as The Explorers and chaperoned a few trips to Colorado where the Explorer Olympics were held. She received the highest award given to a volunteer, The Silver Beaver.
At the time of her retirement in 1995 she had become the Administrator Assistant to Thomas E. Green who was then CEO of Community Hospital of Dobbs Ferry, NY.
She was preceded in death of her parents and her sister, Eleanor. She is also survived by her beloved Dorkie, Cupcake who brought her many years of joy and happiness.
Cremation has been arranged with the National Cremation Society on Bee Ridge Road, Sarasota, Florida.
