After being the primary homemaker in the raising of her 3 sons, Lynn became a world traveler as a result of her career with the AAA Motor Club Travel Service in Sarasota. It is while working there that she met Russell Nelson and, after a whirlwind courtship, married him in Crans-Montana Switzerland, surrounded by both their families and many friends. Later that same year they settled into their new home in Nokomis FL. After 13 years of marital bliss, Russ passed away in 2003, and Lynn continued to reside in their Nokomis home up and until her recent passing.
Commonly referred to as "Sister", "Mother", and "Auntie Lynn", Lynn was part of a very close, extended family and will be remembered and missed very much by those in the generations that follow and her friends. A celebration of a long life, well-lived! Memorial contributions may be made to the Tidewell Hospice in Venice, FL.
