Thom Thompson Cottrill, 78, of Venice, FL, formerly of Baldwin, MI and Hatboro, PA, died on Mar. 2, 2014. Funeral arrangements by: Farley Funeral Homes & Crematory.
Thom was born in Clarksburg, WV on May 13, 1935. He attended Michigan State University and graduated with a degree in mathematics before attending Temple University, where he received his MBA. Thom worked for Campbell Soup Company as the Director of Data Processing in Camden, NJ for 15 years. He was President of the National Accounting Association and attended the Catholic Church. He was an avid golfer, played basketball, coached various little league teams, and was an avid Michigan State fan.
Survivors include his loving wife of 57 years, Kristine Cottrill, of Venice, FL; daughter Karen (Alfred) Current of Englewood, FL; son, Robert (Britt) Cottrill of San Clemente, CA; daughter Jennifer (Timothy) Nogowski of Hatboro, PA; and grandchildren Naomi and Benjamin Nogowski of Hatboro, PA and Kendall and Avery Goldberg of San Clemente, CA. Thom was predeceased by his grandparents, Benjamin and Marguerite Thompson and by his parents, Robert E. Cottrill and Elizabeth Boyce.
