Hangar will never be forgotten. He was always kind and helpful whenever we met him at Myakka. Maybe he and my husband Ralph who passed away Dec 22, 2018 are playing again in heaven. Condolences to the family. Maggie Zielske

My late husband Chuck Trevathan and Hager died the same year. Chuck considered Hager one of his best friends and they always stayed in touch after they retired. I know he was a good man and is missed by many. I bet Chuck and Hager are hanging out together in heaven.

Hager Blair was married to my first cousin, Ruth Ison Blair. I have many fond memories of Hager and Ruth spending time with our family while Hager was stationed at Seymour, IN in the late 40's.

Hager was the icon of Myakka Pines. He'll be looking over us making sure we keep those putts honest! He warmed our hearts and brought many wonderful memories of golf and war. A talented golfer, teacher at heart. Bringing vets together and creating an annual Armed Forces golf tournament. Kind and friendly. A gentleman to the core. Devoted husband, a friend, a wonderful man to share a beer with. Honest and direct, as he would say "there are no excuses". In golf or in life". He was right even if it meant no gimmies. St. Peter will have to practice to keep up with Hager. We know you'll be watching over us with an eagle eye Hager. God Bless.

We played together so many times in the past 25 yrs. at Myakka and had many good times. We would sit outside and you would like to tell "I played with Norm and he hit a drive on Blue #1 and put it down by the palm next to the green". You never seemed to tire telling that story.
We had great respect for each other and you were a good friend and will be missed by many.
