Kratzer, Christopher J.
Jan. 7, 1950 - May 20, 2011

Christopher J. "Cheif" Kratzer, 61, of Sarasota died May 20, 2011.
Services will be held at a later date.
Survivors include his wife, Christine; a son, Chris of Atlanta, Ga.; and a brother, Curt of Missouri.
Chris retired after 30 years of service with the Sangamon Sheriff's Office, Springfield, Ill., in 2000. After moving to Sarasota in 2005, he was an avid golfer and a member of the Meadows Country Club as well as a board member of the Glen Oaks Condo Association.
