John Marshall "Doublestack Dzak" Dziedziak, 24, of Sarasota died May 27, 2011.
Visitation is from 11 to 1 p.m. Thursday at Toale Brothers Funeral Homes, Colonial Chapel. Services to follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sarasota Memorial Park.
Survivors include his mother, Mary Ranes Dyche of Sarasota; father Frank J. both of Sarasota; grandmother Eleanor L. of East Windsor, Conn,
His aunts, Marsha "Dee" Hanson of Las Vegas, Nev. and Julie Cortese of Long Island, N.Y.; uncle Mark T. Ranes of Lewisburg, Pa. He leaves behind many loving friends and "brothers" and "sisters".
John was recently sworn in and was leaving in October for the United States Army and was to begin serving this country as an Advanced Calvary Scout. He chose this dangerous assignment to make a difference for the lives of his fellow servicemen.
John worked closely with the children of the Boy's and Girl's Club as a counselor and lifeguard for many years. He was also employed as a Valet at the Sarasota Kennel Club the past five years.
John will be remembered for his wisdom, kindness, guidance and love of adventure and life.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Boy's and Girl's Club Inc. of Sarasota or donate to GoFundMe.com/ John-Dziedziak.
The family would also like to thank John's extended family and friends for all their support and kindness during this most difficult time.

I wasnt lucky enough to know John as a young man, but he was a big part of my life as a child, he was always the most well behaved kid I've ever met. My father was also lost in a motorcycle accident and its fast and trajic way to lose someone, I will always have a place in my heart for as I remember "Little John". RIP

You were the greatest kid I knew. Always kept your head on your shoulders, for the most part, but u had such a drive that people could only dream of having. You're an inspiration to a lot of people and I can only hope u will continue to inspire. That you will stay in there memories forever. You are gone, but NEVER will be forgotten. I love you. John i miss you soo much! seeing you yesterday was so unreal! I can not believe you are gone! I'm so happy you came to my birthday dinner we all had a good night talking and you trying makes jokes on me. we had a good night even if it was the last couple hours i got to see you! John, this is the hardest thing I have ever been through. I can't get over the fact that you have passed on. After your beautiful service, your other "brothers" and "sisters" and I went out to honor your name and remember all of the great memories you gave us. I miss you so much Gilligan. i was always looking forward to the day when me you and Christina would get together and talk about all the fun memories from middle school. maybe we'll still do that. it won't quite be the same... but you WILL still be with us. i stil can't believe any of this... sarasota won't ever be the same. but we all know that you're still with us and watching over us and that makes it a little easier.

I feel blessed to have had John a part of my life not all that long ago. I will cherish the memories of going fishing with him, going to his BMX races and I really enjoyed helping him learn to drive. John was a GREAT kid....polite, well mannered and full of life. His smile and sense of humor were priceless. He grew up to be a caring, loving compassionate young man that would make any parent proud. I will miss him. May God bless you Mary and give you strength.
