Michael Fay Obituary
Sep. 21, 1948 - May 16, 2011
Michael S. Fay, 62, of Venice, formerly of Barnegat, N.J. died May 16, 2011.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at American Legion Post 159, 1770 E. Venice Avenue, with interment immediately following in Sarasota National Cemetery. Farley Funeral Home, Venice Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his two children Christine and Michael, four grandchildren Kyra, Michael, Kathryn and Jack, his mother Elizabeth and five siblings Thomas, Patricia, Robert, John and William.
Michael lost his courageous battle with cancer on May 16, 2011 with loved ones by his side. Michael was a Navy veteran and a retired Police Office of Barnegate Township, New Jersey. He was also a member of the Venice American Legion #159. Michael took great pleasure in his family, many friendships, and time spent enjoying the open road on his Harley.
Michael also leaves behind his loving companion and best friend, Maryann.
