Robert G. Curtis, 77, of Nokomis, formerly of Detroit, Mich. died June 4, 2011.
Celebration of Life is 1 p.m. Friday at the family home. Farley Funeral Home, Venice Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Curtis retired from Ford Motor Company as a Plant Manager. He was a larger than life gentleman with a keen sense of humor, and he could always make you laugh. He was loved by all who knew him, and will be sorely missed. Bob leaves behind his beloved wife Helen, daughter Kimberly Burkholder-McNutt and her husband Michael of Toledo, Ohio, son Jeff Curtis of Las Vegas, Nev., grandchildren Brandon and Danielle Burkholder, both of Olympia, Wash. and Ryane Burkholder of Toledo, Ohio, and sisters Mary Frances Krulcik and her husband Stanley of Smithfield, Ohio and Helen Clay of Akron, Ohio, along with many other family members and dear friends.
