Alice Armbruster Obituary

Armbruster, Alice (Caram/Haddad)
June 5, 1924 - Sept. 28, 2011

Alice (Caram/Haddad) Armbruster, of Venice, Fla., formerly of Danbury, devoted wife of 23 years to Ludwig "Lou" Armbruster, died at her home in Florida on Wednesday, Sept. 28. Alice was born on June 5, 1924 in Danbury daughter of the late Joseph A. and Anna K. (Faysal) Caram.
Alice worked as an office manager at ASCO Supply Company in Danbury before retiring in 1989 to Venice, Fla. She was a former member of St. Anthony's Ladies Guild and the Young Women's Syrian Lebanon Society. Alice was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother "SITO" and great-grandmother.
Alice will be sadly missed by her husband, Lou, of Venice, Fla. and her children, Anne M. Curran and her husband, John of Waterbury and Michael J. Haddad, Sr. and his wife Delores of Danbury; her grandchildren, Michael J. Haddad, Jr. of Stafford, Va., Brian-Keith M. Haddad of Manhattan, N.Y., John M. Haddad of Danbury and Sarah-Elizabeth A. Haddad of Tampa, Fla., Jory Curran of Massachusetts and Cody Curran of Waterbury; her great-grandchildren, Christian Haddad of Stafford, Va., Savannah Haddad of Danbury, Alexis and Makayla Haddad of Stafford, Va.
Donations and/or contributions may be made in her honor to Hospice of Tidewell, 220 Wexford Blvd., Venice. FL 34293.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 4 at St. Anthony's Church, Grandville Ave, Danbury with burial to follow in St. Peter Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 3 at Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White St., Danbury, CT 06810.

Praying for you Uncle Lou on the anniversary of Alice's death. Praise God we can know for sure we will go to Heaven when we die because Jesus paid the price for our sins on the cross "and whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" the Word of God says. Thank you Jesus!
