Brady, Donn S.

Donn S. Brady, 81, of Sarasota passed away Thursday, June 2, 2011.
Donn moved to the area 31 years ago from New York. He graduated from Hofstra University & Farmingdale University and worked as a building inspector for New York City and Sarasota County. He was a state of Florida certified general contractor and a past member of the Sarasota Photography Club and the Silent Flyers.
He was predeceased by his parents, Preston and Mildred Brady.
He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Margaret; sons Charles, James and Edward Brady; daughters Denise Wright and Kathleen Rodriguez; and grandchildren Suzanne Powers, Anthony Rodriguez and Kevin McGuire.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to: New Life Worship Center food pantry, 2105 Worrington St., Sarasota, FL 34231.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, June 17, 2011, at Sarasota National Cemetery in Sarasota. Arrangements are in the care of Veterans Funeral Service and Cremation, (941) 377-1060.

Dear family of Donn Brady,
We are so sorry to hear of Donn's passing. I was a contractor during Donn's time with Sarasota County. His knowledge and good personality made it a pleasure to work with him.
