Herbert Towers Obituary
May 29, 1931 - June 11, 2011
Herbert G. Towers, 80, of Venice, formerly of Wellesley Hills, Mass. died June 11, 2011.
Survivors include Deborah McCabe, Pamela Swanson, Linda Towers, Jeffery Towers, Sullivan Swanson, Benjamin McCabe, Scarlett Lynch, Carissa Towers, and Wendy Pile.
Herb moved here in the 80's when he owned and operated of Osprey Marine Center. He was an avid boater who spent many hours cruising with friends and family. He was an active member of the American Legion Post #159 in Venice and a Korean War Veteran.
A Memorial Service will be held at Venice United Church of Christ, 620 Shamrock Blvd., Venice, Fla. on Friday, June 17 at 5:30 p.m. Burial will take place at a later date in Marion, Massachusetts.
