Dear Susanne, Lindsay and I so sad to hear of your loss of Jack. Although I only knew him for a relatively short time I felt I had known him much longer- he was a wonderful, kind and genuine person. A true gem. I shall never forget Jack and the times he and I spent together chatting downtown. Sarasota is far poorer place without him. I wish you and your family comfort at this time and in the future. Jack I know is with his beloved 'angels'.

Dear Susanne, I am sorry for the loss of Jack. I had the opportunity to work with him and I must say that he left a moving impression. He was a wonderful man and I feel very fortunate for having the opportunity to hear his stories and jokes. I wish you and your family comfort in knowing Jack is now with all of his 'angels.'

Dear Suzanne,
We knew you were doing your best with your irrepressible Jack when you postponed coming to our home last week. And we knew Jack was still Jack when we received his hand written note, the day of his passing, saying he would be fully restored momentarily and coming to dinner! We wish it had been so, but we are happy to know that Jack is still Jack, wherever he is. We wish you all the strength you need in Jack's absence, we're sure you have it, and hope to be friends in your life from now on.
Love,
Chuck & Elisabeth

Dear Susanne,
My favorite quote about death is "Death is leaving behind what you HAVE to become what you ARE." And what was Jack but a loving, caring, funny and joyful guy that we all loved so much. The girls and Del still always remember our times at the waterfall, playing Trivial Pursuits and making wonderful memories. Our thoughts and prayers are with you .... Dear Susanne, Chris, Joyce, and Bill, I have known Jack since my late teens at Far Horizons and I felt like we were family. He was kind and loving to his family, friends and his animals, a lover of the arts, a teacher and reader of great literature, and an adventurer who loved travelling everywhere. Most of all he was a great friend. I will miss Jack so much and his crazy stories! May you rest in peace with your beloved pets. Lots of love, Susanne from Marsha Baillie

Goodbye old friend. You have been a great friend for all these years, from the Jaycee and Mystic Krewe days to the poker nights at the
Far Horizons. Such great memories. And to think our reunion was only last month.I will miss you very much. Be at peace with your beloved animals.
