Karl-Heinz Pfitzenreiter, 65 years of age, of Sarasota FL unexpectedly passed away on Monday, September 23rd, 2013 in the comfort of his own home. Karl formerly resided in Briarcliff Manor, NY and grew up in Frankfurt, Germany. He left behind his wife Lais Pfitzenreiter, his daughter Katrin Pfitzenreiter, his sisters Jutta Schulz and Maria Walter in Germany, and his beloved cat Schoschi. Karl was born in Leipzig Germany and has lived in the USA for over two decades. He was a dedicated CEO for Zwilling J.A. Henckels for 25 years and served on the board of directors for Tweezerman as well as the American Housewares Association. Karl had a passion for life and especially loved fun times with his friends and family. He most enjoyed entertaining guests, fast cars and traveling the world with his wife to learn about new cultures, people and places. He was a very successful man because he led his life with integrity, showed loyalty and consistency in his actions both at work and in his private life. He is missed terribly and so very much loved by his family and friends ALWAYS. Arrangements are by Jennings Funeral Home & Crematory.
