Anderson, Robert H.
June 19, 1924 - May 27, 2011

The Rev. Dr. Robert H. Anderson, 86, of Wichita, Kan., formerly of Pennsylvania, Indiana, Kentucky and Georgia, died May 27, 2011.
Visitation will be 7 to 9 p.m. today at Headley Funeral Chapel, 813 State St., Augusta, Kan. Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Headley Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Kensington Gardens in Wichita.
Robert was born in Mitchell, Ind., on June 19, 1924, son of the late Nathanial Omer and Carrie Jane (Lagle) Anderson, and passed into the presence of our Almighty God on Friday, May 27, 2011. (Psalm 100).
He was preceded in death by brothers, Charles E., Howard J., and Ferrell O. Anderson.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Mary L. (Johnson) Anderson of Wichita; daughter Deborah J. (James) Wilkerson of Wichita; son Jay Robert Anderson of Melbourne, Ky.; grandchildren Quentin (Stephanie) Pittman of Wichita, Austin Pittman of Indianapolis, Ind., Sara Anderson of Redondo Beach, Calif., and Jacqueline Wilkerson of Wichita; and great-grandchildren Madyson, Nicholas and Anthony Pittman of Wichita.
Dr. Anderson pastored churches in Pennsylvania, Indiana, Kentucky, Georgia and Florida.
The family requests that memorial gifts be given to further his life work in one the churches above, or your own.
