Thomas A. Cole, 78, of Venice died May 27, 2011.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. June 25, 2011 at First Christian Church, Venice. Arrangements by Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home and Cremation Services Venice Chapel.
Mr. Cole was born in Baltimore, Md. to Thomas B. and Grace (Swope) Cole. Mr. Cole worked for the Maryland Board of Education as a painter before retiring. He moved to Venice in 1988 from Elkridge, Md. He was a member of the First Christian Church, Venice.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret E. Cole of Venice; nieces, Sandra Savage of Port Charlotte, Fla.; Linda Hagan of North Port, Fla.; Susan Hailey of Sarasota, Fla.; nephews, Jarrett Phillips of Venice, Fla.; Michael Scott of Port Charlotte, Fla.; and brother-in-law, Edward Phillips of Venice, Fla.
