Mathew Charles Monea, 87, of Sarasota, formerly of Dearborn, Mich. died April 23, 2012.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Wiegand Brothers Funeral Home. Services will be 8 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel. Interment will be at Sarasota National Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Vivian; son Patrick
and wife Laura of Okomos, Mich.; daughters Grace and her husband Bill Stanley of Northville, Mich. and Madelyn and her husband David Micallef of Sarasota, Fla.; brother Dominic of Riverview, Mich.; sister Francis Torkarz of Livonia, Mich.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
