Pamela Chapman, of Sarasota, FL, died on May 1, 2012.
Pamela was born and raised in Finchley, London GB. Initially she worked in the "City of London" until her marriage in 1954, and she then left the City and worked for the United Kingdom Civil Service until the birth of her daughter.
She then moved with her husband to Geneva Switzerland, working as a Financial controller for the "World Council of Churches" Refugee assistance program until her retirement.
In 1993 she accompanied her husband to Dallas, Texas.
In Dallas, Pamela was an active member of the projects "Wives Support group" appearing on television protesting to President Clinton about the early termination of the project her husband was engaged in.
A later visit to Sarasota resulted in a decision to reside here permanently, firstly on "Long Boat Key" then on "Palmer Ranch".
Whilst living on L.B.K., Pamela became an active member of Sarasota Yacht Club's women's group and entertainment committee, and was a member until her death...
Pamela leaves her husband Gerald, daughter Claire and grandchildren Michael, Phillip and Caroline.
