Olga Theresa Demarest, age 97, of Englewood, died on May 11, 2012. She was born in New Brunswick, NJ on November 3, 1914 and moved to Florida over 40 years ago.
A former plant nursery owner, Olga enjoyed gardening. She also loved to sew and made many of her own clothes.
She was predeceased by her husband Ed in 2000. Olga is survived by many dear friends including Jerry and Connie Sommerville, Russell and Maxine Bohley, and Doris Dean.
A memorial service will be held at the Seventh Day Adventist Church on Seaboard Ave. in Venice on Saturday, May 19th at 2:30 PM. Farley Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
