Whitehair, William
Jan. 29, 1932 - Jun. 9, 2012
William was born in Miamisburg, Ohio to James W. and Edith Whitehair.
He worked for 25 years at Simons Cadillac in Dayton, Ohio. Later, he was a Senior Auto Mechanic at the Montgomery County Joint Vocational School. He was a lifetime member of the Masons in West Carrollton, Ohio, and at one time was President of the Lions Club in Ohio
He moved to Sarasota, Florida in 1982, and was in charge of Sun & Fun Mobile Home Park for several years before becoming the only certified repair man at Family Healthcare Supply, and was also the only authorized repair man for Bay Pines VA medical facility in Bay Pines. He covered from south of Tampa to Port Charlotte. There was no medical equipment that he couldn't fix.
He married his loving wife Brenda (Cook Neidert) Whitehair in 1992, and they opened their own DME store (B & B Healthcare) in Bradenton. After 3 years of success, they had to close the store because he was injured.
Bill was preceded in death by his sister, Maxine Wilgis. He leaves behind his wife Brenda, children Robert J. and Mary Whitehair of Tennessee, Kimberly Coon and Michael of Virginia, and Donna Whitehair, as well as several grandchildren, one great- grandchild, and one great-great-granddaughter.
Everyone who knew Bill fell in love with him immediately. He is going to be sorely missed, but never forgotten.
