Clifford T. Larsen, 91, of Venice, FL, formerly of Northfield, MN, passed away on June 16, 2012.
He was born on January 23, 1921 in Forest Lake, MN to Louis and Eleanore Larsen.
Clifford served in the United States Navy and was awarded the Purple Heart. He worked as a Chemistry Technician for 35 years at Carlton College in Northfield, MN.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Helen, in the year 2000.
Clifford is survived by his wife, Elsie of Venice; three sons, Norman (Sharon) Larsen of Minneapolis, MN, Gary (Shirley) Larsen and Marvin (Diane) Larsen of Northfield, MN; daughter Beverly (Michael) Fertig of Saginaw, MN; stepson, Dale (Susan) McGorman, stepdaughter, Janice (Harold) Brautnick of Rochester Hills, MI and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A service will be held on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at 9am at McKee Funeral Home, 14538 Tamiami Trail, North Port.
Burial will take place at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL following the service.
