Shirley Jebb, 77, of Sarasota, FL, formerly of Florence, AL, died on June 27, 2012. Funeral arrangements by: Packer Funeral Home.
Services were private. She is survived by, Daughter, Stephanie Barclift of Ft. Myers, FL., Son, Joel Jebb of Cornwall, NY., grandchildren, Caroline Barclift and Benjamin, Alexander, and Olivia Jebb. She is now with her beloved granddaughter Catherine Barclift. She was a member of the Church of the Palms and worked in its food pantry and afterschool tutoring program. She was also a member of the United Nations Association of the United States of America and Singles on the Go, Inc. Additionally she acted as a Florida Guardian Ad Litem. She was a longtime teacher at Merrick Elementary School in Coral Gables, FL and Alta Vista Elementary School and McIntosh Middle School in Sarasota.
