"Meze" L. Agnew, 94, of Waynesville, NC, died on Jul. 15, 2012.
A native of Mason City, Illinois and former resident of Venice, Florida, she was the daughter of the late George and Pansy Tomlin Zimmerman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles G. Agnew, who died in 1989 and son-in-law, Jack Kammer. Meze enjoyed sitting on her porch swing, visiting with children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and watching the Chicago Cubs Baseball Team.
She is survived by a daughter, Karen A. Kammer of Chicago, Illinois; a son, Robert K. Agnew and his wife, Pat, of Sarasota, Florida; a daughter, Kathy A. Kelsey and her husband, Bruce, of Waynesville; four grandchildren; and seven great- grandchildren.
Services will be held at a later date in Florida.
