Miles, Alice Price

Alice Price Miles, 89, of Glen Allen, Virginia passed away August 6, 2012. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Tommy T. Miles; her grand-son, Christopher Noel Moyer; and sisters Margaret Snavely and Emily Price. She is survived by daughters Gene Miles and Ann Marie Hill; son Tommy Miles Jr. (Theresa Harter-Miles); grand-son Shannon Hill; sisters Elizabeth Conkling, Mary Brittle, and Alva Haley; several nieces and nephews on many levels; and many long-time and loving friends. After Tommy retired from the military, the family lived in Sarasota for 12 years before relocating to Richmond. Alice became an avid volunteer in many activities, including circle membership and Sunday School teaching at Trinity United Methodist Church in Sarasota. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to Brookland United Methodist Church, 2501 Staples Mill Road, Richmond, VA 23230.
