William T. Altmann, 79 of Venice, FL formerly of Walpole, MA passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at the Pinebrook Rehab and Nursing Center. William was born November 23, 1932 in Brooklyn, NY the son of the late Louis and Gertrude (Thorne) Altmann. William is survived by his wife
Jane of Venice; daughter Kendra Altmann Gross (Martin); sons Scott Altmann (Charlotte) and Curt Altmann (Miyuki) and grandchildren Sarah and Emily Gross
and Mika and Kazuki Altmann Hayashi. William worked in the computer industry including IBM, Bunker Ramo Ratheon, established Altmann
Association in 1987 a management consultant firm. He received an E.E. at Drexel University and a MBA at the University of Connecticut. William served
with the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict, He was a member of the Venice Sail and Power Squadron and the Venice American Legion
and was of the Episcopal faith.
Mr. Altmann's ashes will be buried at sea at the families convenience with a celebration of life to be held at a later date.
