Marge K. Springer (nee Feldman), 69, of Bradenton, FL, died on Aug. 10, 2012.
Marge K. Springer, 69, died after battling acute leukemia for almost a year.
Marge was born in Fall River, MA and grew up in Takoma Park, MD. She lived in Middletown, NJ for over 35 years before moving with her husband Artie to Bradenton, FL in 2006. The Catskills was their special mountain retreat.
She graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson School of Dental Hygiene in 1963 and practiced the profession she loved for 43 years in New Jersey and New York.
She was a devoted wife to Artie, loving mother to Martin (Julie) and Daniel. She will be missed dearly by her grandchildren Grace and Isaac Springer-Goldberg.
Marge was an avid lover of life who enjoyed tennis, swimming, bicycling, and hiking. Her hobbies included gardening, knitting, crocheting, gourmet cooking, reading, and painting. She and Artie traveled the world from Asia to the Middle East to Europe.
She was a member of ORT and Brandeis Women's Association. Marge served on the Art Selection Committee of Monmouth Reform Temple for many years helping to shape a well regarded exhibition. As a community volunteer, Marge taught literacy skills to adults and swimming skills to children.
Marge was a great listener, offering positive answers and outlooks to both her friends and patients. She shared light, love, and laughter with all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband Arthur, sons Martin and Daniel Springer, daughter-in-law Julie Goldberg, grandchildren Grace and Isaac Springer-Goldberg, her sister and brother-in-law Joan and William Saidel, her sister-in-law and brother-in-law Margie and Del DeMarino, and 2 nieces and 2 nephews.
