Georgina I. Sullivan, 96, Sarasota FL, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2012.
She was born Sept. 25, 1915, in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan and moved to Florida in 1978. Predeceased by her two husbands of over 30 years each, Franklin T. Sullivan, Brooklyn, NY in 2004 and Arthur E. Adlam, Chamberlain, Saskatchewan in1966, she lived previously in Saskatoon, Toronto, Montreal and New Milford, Conn. She was an active hospital volunteer for over forty years, most recently at Sarasota Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include her daughter Joan Jensen of Ellenton, FL, son and daughter-in-law Ronald and Beverley Adlam of Toronto Canada, step-daughter Barbara (Nick) Castataro of Yorktown NY, sister Patricia Brown of Calgary Alberta, grandchildren Steven (Laura) Jensen of Arlington VA, Bonnie (Chris) Clayton of Ransomeville NY, Bart (Angelique) Adlam of New York City, Dawn (Millan) Patel of Richmond BC, many great and great-great grandchildren as well as a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her loving kindness and humor. The family thanks the team of professionals at Consulate Health for the compassionate care shown to her. Services will be private. Internment will be in Montreal at a later date.
