Hall, Nell Ewell

Nell Ewell Hall, 102, born in Baltimore, Md. on April 24, 1910, passed away on August 25, 2012, in Houston, Tx. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Winfield Hall. She graduated first in her class from The Maryland Institute in Baltimore, Md. in 1932. She was a lifetime artist. Her beautiful stitcheries were exhibited in many shows and galleries over the years that she lived on Siesta Key in Sarasota, FL. She was blessed with many dear friends throughout her years in Sarasota. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Navarro, of Houston, Tx. and her son, Timothy Hall, of Cartegena, Colombia. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Susan Porvaznik, John Navarro, Sheila Hall and Theo Hall; great grandchildren, Jacob & Zachary Porvaznik, John Paul & Gianna Navarro, as well as many nieces and nephews. We all will miss her so very much.
Funeral services will be held on Sat., Sept. 1, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation at 10:00 a.m., at Toale Bros. Funeral Home, 40 North Orange Ave., Sarasota. FL. Interment will follow in Sarasota Memorial Park.
