Carolyn V. Prekop, 78, of Venice passed away peacefully on September 8, 2012 at the Tidewell Hospice House in Port Charlotte. She was born on February 24, 1934 in Plainfield, NJ and was a resident of New Jersey. She was a loving mother who devoted her life to raising her children.
Carolyn is predeceased by her mother, Marion and father Harold Crowell. She leaves her husband, Paul A. Prekop, Sr., her son, Paul A Prekop, Jr., his wife, Terry, two grandchildren, Alexis and Paul III and one great granddaughter, Haylee. Also surviving is her daughter, Kimberly Jones and granddaughter, Capt. Lindsay Jones, her sister, Janet Volovcik and family.
