It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Susan M. Kryvicky. Following the complications of pancreatic cancer, Susie passed away in the comfort of friends and family on October 07, 2013. She was 65.
Susie was born on 06/06/48 in Detroit, MI. She is the daughter of Dr. James McEvoy and Doris McEvoy.
Born and raised in Oak Park, MI, Susie had traveled and resided in locations all over the world. In 1975, Susie married Raymond Kryvicky and the couple resided abroad in both Madrid, Spain and Sao Paulo, Brazil. Following Raymond's untimely death in 1983, Susie returned to the United States, however, she never lost her love of travel. In the years that would follow, Susie enjoyed travel with her mother, sister and close friends that spanned the globe. In 1989, Susie relocated to Siesta Key, FL and ultimately Sarasota, where she resided until her passing.
Susie is survived by her sister, Margaret Gagniuk and her children, Brian (wife-Jamie) and Patrick, her brother, Joe McEvoy (wife-Nancy), and their children, Andy, Michael and Maureen, her brother, Thom (wife-Hallie) and his children, Jessica, Kara and Christopher, and her sister-in-law, Joan Hardy and her children, Kelly and Brian. In addition to family, Susan was well cared for and loved by a number of close friends, family and neighbors.
Susan is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Kryvicky, her parents, James and Doris McEvoy and brother-in-law, Dr. William Hardy.
Susie will definitely be missed by all that knew her. Her love of life and energy will be missed by so many. In lieu of flowers, Susie has asked for donations to be made in her name to the Sarasota Humane Society.
