Kathryn Cochran, age 90, of Sarasota, Florida made her final journey to be with the Lord, on February 23, 2018.
She was the daughter of late George M. and Artie Bagley Speck and was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years Rev. Dunn C. Cochran and brothers George B. Speck and Tommy Speck.
Kathryn was known to many as "Meme Cochran" and "Lady Kathryn" she wore both names well.
She was a pastor's wife that supported her husband to the very end of his ministry. She enjoyed being with her family and serving others. Kathryn, entertained and hosted many missionaries, pastors, church leaders, family members and friends. She was an exemplar mother and was a model Christian woman. She was a friend to many and would always have an encouraging word to lift your spirits.
She was a dedicated member of the Church of the Nazarene for over 60 years.
She is survived by her two daughters, Suzette (Joe) Hembree and Sabrena Smith, along with the blessing of having nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren (and two more on the way).
A Memorial Celebration Service will be held at Trinity Church of the Nazarene, 3101Wilkinson Road Sarasota, Florida on Monday, March 5, 2018 at 6:00pm.
Kathryn will be laid to rest beside her husband at the Sarasota National Cemetery.
