James R. Cole, 90, of Upper Arlington, OH, formerly of Venice, FL, died on Feb. 12, 2013. Funeral arrangements by: Kauber-Sammons Funeral Home.
James R Cole "Jim" had a good run. Jim loved his wife Louise (Helen "Louise" Cole) more than life itself and they had 67 years together. Jim was a WWII veteran and participated in the Normandy invasion. He enjoyed golf and politics and was not shy about expressing his opinion. Jim retired from the Pennsylvania Railroad after 42 years of service as a train dispatcher. Jim and Louise enjoyed many happy retirement years living on a golf course in Venice, Florida. Jim was a proud father of 2 children James W Cole and Deborah Cole-Sedivy. He had 5 grandchildren Christine Girard, James L Cole, Jason Cole (deceased), Nicholas Sedivy & Philip Sedivy. He died from complications of heart disease at the age of 90.
