Albert I. Eaton Jr. of Sarasota Florida, formally of Woodsboro, Maryland, passed away peacefully on the evening of Saturday, January 21, 2017. He was the son of the late Albert I. Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Eaton and married to his loving wife Alice, AC, of 60 years.
He is preceded in death by his brother Charles Franklin, sister Mary Louise and survived by his sister Sandra Kay Hayslett (Guy) of Olney, Maryland, his two children Crystal Kemnitz (Chris) of Silver Spring, Maryland and Charles A. Eaton (Nancy) of Greenville, South Carolina. Albert enjoyed five grandchildren, Tim, Sonny, Monica, Michael and Jason, three nephews Doug, David and Kevin, three nieces Carol, Sherrie and Laura all who filled his heart with joy.
Albert was born in Engle, West Virginia, was a graduate of Harpers Ferry High School before enlisting in the United States Army on June 2, 1952, receiving an honorable discharge after serving his country for 10 years with the Army Security Agency. Albert spent his working career as an Aerospace Machinist with Communication Satellite Corporation (COMSAT) until his retirement.
A service will be held for family and friends at the Church of the Incarnation, 2901 Bee Ridge Rd, Sarasota, Florida, on February 11, 2017 at 1:00 PM.
A graveside service will be conducted at Saint Luke Cemetery located at 16605 Briardale Road, Derwood, Maryland at a later date.
