James Willoughby Obituary

WILLOUGHBY, JAMES R.; age 59; of Lapeer; died November 4, 2012; at home with his family. James was born December 25, 1952 in Detroit. The son of the late Joseph and Charlene Willoughby. He later married Sandra Schley on April 22, 1981 in Lincoln Park. James was active in the Elba Little League Program as a coach and board member when his boys were younger. He also enjoyed camping, fishing, playing his guitar, and reading. James is survived by his wife, Sandra; sons, Christopher, Edmund, Derek; siblings, Joanne (Charles) Nadeau, Janet Knight, Bonnie Willoughby; and close brother-in-laws, Mark and Richard. Cremation has taken place and A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 11, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Mayfield Township Hall, 1900 N. Saginaw, Lapeer, MI. Memorials in memory of James may be made to the family. Arrangements entrusted to Jansen Family Funeral Home - Columbiaville. Share condolences or online memories with the family at
