Barry E. Sedlock

SEDLOCK, BARRY E.; age 65; of Dundee; passed away Monday, December 23, 2013, in his home surrounded by his family. Born April 8, 1948, in Trenton, Barry was the son of Edward and Mildred (Francisco) Sedlock. He married the love of his life, Kathleen Farber, on May 3, 1969. Barry Co-owned and Operated Sedlock and Francisco Construction for over 30 years, though most recently has been the Director of Public Services for Grosse Ile Township. A Licensed Commercial Pilot and Certified Flight Instructor, Barry was a member of the Elks in Flat Rock and past member of the Lions Club. Barry leaves to cherish his memory: Kathleen, his wife of the past 44 years; daughter, Roberta (Joe) Bravata; granddaughters, Samantha Handley and Kennedy Carroll; as well as a brother, Douglas Sedlock. In addition to his parents, Barry was preceded in death by a daughter, Lori Carroll. Friends may call Sunday from 12 Noon until 9 p.m. at the Trenton Chapel-Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 3200 West Road, where Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday.
