Vincent James "Jim" Magnone Obituary
MAGNONE, VINCENT JAMES "Jim"; age 87; of Fowlerville; died Monday May 13, 2013. He was born May 3, 1926 in Marion Center, PA to Frank and Rose (Muto) Magnone and married Grace LaTourette on August 4, 1951 at St. Clements Catholic Church in Dearborn. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army in W.W.II and a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church where he was an usher. Jim was a barber and avid golfer, bowler, baseball fan and gardener. Surviving are his 5 daughters, Janis (James) Orleman of Canton, June (Frank) Maurer of Fowlerville, Linda (Garry) Dolecki of Williamston, Donna Stitt of Dearborn Heights and Gina (Kevin) Newell of Dexter, 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Grace and son-in-law, Daniel Stitt; 2 brothers; and 6 sisters. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, May 16, 2013 at St. Agnes Catholic Church with Fr. Louis Ekka officiating. Interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Fowlerville. Visitation 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Niblack Funeral Home, where the Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the .
