WILLIE HOWE 3/1/1943 - 8/4/2013 Carl (Willie) Howe entered into Eternal Life on Aug. 4, 2013 in his home with family by his side. Willie was born in El Paso, Texas on March 1, 1943 to Carl and Eva Howe. He then joined the Navy in 1960 where he served on the U.S. Dixie until 1964. Willie moved to the High Desert in 1982 where he met Roxanne, the love of his life. They were married in the Little Church of the Desert on April 9, 1983. Willie worked for government contractors, both at Fort Irwin, Ca., and Fort Carson, Colo. Willie is survived by his wife, Roxanne and children, Victoria Dan Destiny, Joshua Evan; and 11 grandchildren. Willie has been a friend of Bill W for 32 years and was a living example of the quality of life that results from a successful recovery program, inspiring many suffering addiction to seek help. Celebration of life will be on Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013 from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Newberry Springs Senior Center, 33383 Newberry Road, Newberry Springs, Ca. 92365.
