Elizabeth (Betty) Blair Crossman 2/06/1924 - 4/23/2013 We want to share the loss of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Elizabeth Blair Crossman passed away peacefully in the early morning of April 23, 2013, in Medford, Oregon. Elizabeth was born in San Francisco, California along with her identical twin sister, Edith. She married Alfred Hall Crossman Jr. in 1943 and graduated from Stanford University in 1945. They moved to Apple Valley in 1952 and lived in this area for 56 years. Elizabeth was a home- maker and taught school at Del Rey Elementary School in Victorville for 20 years. She kept in touch with many of her former students over the years. Elizabeth also loved gardening, RVing, bird watching, raising Samoyed dogs, playing piano, theater and musical performances, knitting, cooking, and entertaining with the organ club. Elizabeth moved to Medford, Oregon in 2008 where she made many dear friends at Veranda Park Retirement Community. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her daughter Elizabeth Ann, her grandson Matthew, her sister Edith, and her dear husband Alfred. She is survived by her three sons: David (Elizabeth) from Shady Cove, Oregon, Lynden (Lynn) from Gardnerville, Nevada and Derek (Zippie) from Veneta, Oregon. A beautiful memorial of her life was held at Veranda Park on April 27, 2013 with many of her family and friends in attendance.
