GARY HAMMONDS 11/9/1950 - 12/24/2013 Gary Hammonds passed away on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2014 at the age of 63 in Victorville, CA. Gary was born on November 9, 1950 in El Centro, CA. and a long time resident of Pinon Hills, CA. Gary was known to many as "Gary No Horse". After "retiring" as a truck driver, he occupied his time by selling wares. Whether it be on the corner in his town, Ebay or an out of state art show. He was so very talented as a artist. He built cacti sculptures out of horse shoes, that are now all over the country. When he wasn't constructing a cactus he was putting together a B.B.Q, each one he designed was thought out to the smallest detail, no two were ever alike. They were as unique and special as he was. Gary by God Hammonds, you forever will be loved and missed for the genuine man you were. Rest in full peace and freedom. He is survived by his wife Elisa; daughter Taunya Kimberly (Dean), Elizabeth Wingo (Wayne), Tina Peek (Billy); son Michael Rainwater (Josianne); grandchildren, Joey, Chelsa, Zachary, Joshua, Amelie, Vaughn, Vallen, Gerry and Kirsten; great grandchildren Aiden and Ava; Sister Sherry, brothers Larry and Terry and a host of family and friends. A viewing will be held on Saturday, January 4th, 2014 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. with a chapel service to follow at Rubidoux Mortuary- Kimberly Family Chapel, 6091 Mission Blvd. Riverside.
