ROBERT "SHAWN" HALLUM 7/30/1965 - 3/7/2014 Our beloved Shawn passed away and has joined our Lord after an accident while riding in the hills with his best friend and brother Danny. Shawn was a loving son, father, grandfather, brother and amazing friend. He loved hunting, fishing, riding in the hills and just hanging out with family and friends, sharing a beer and good times. He was a man's man and proud 4th generation boilermaker, having been trained by the best, his grandfather Jim Phelan, uncle Larry Phelan, and Greg Jackson, Terry Martin, Fran Allen, Kris Musser and Bill O'Driscoll. He was "Champ", "Little Leprechaun" and the "Irishman" to his friends and family, but most importantly he was our rock; our Shawn. This past year Shawn found the love of his life Tekla and they were planning a wonderful future together. He was taken from us far too soon. Our hearts are broken. Shawn will always be remembered as the man we went to for help with building a garage, a boiler, an engine; or for a laugh and a great hug. Shawn is survived by his sons Jason and Jacob, two granddaughters Brooklyn and Aubrey, mother Diane, stepfather Pat, siblings Irene and Danny, his Uncle Larry, Aunt Pat, plus his good friends Reed and Harvey in addition to so many friends and family from coast to coast. Shawn always said "It's all good". Services will be held on Saturday, March 15, 11AM, Desert View Memorial Park, Amargosa Rd., VV. "Here We Go"
