He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Betty Jean Wade. Born in Tennessee on July 29, 1936 was one of 10 children, sisters Helen, Darcy, Rose, Faye, Betty Ann and Gloria and brothers, who all preceded him in death James, Ellis, and Jerry. He is survived by his son Brett Wade and wife Carla and children Brittney and Bobby, his daughter Lydia Oldfield and her husband Jeff and sons Trevor his fiance Angela and Tannor, their granddaughter Kynzie. Son Bart Wade and his wife Marcie and children Jaydee, Katie, her fiance Oscar and Alexis, their grandchildren Payten, Lucas and Charleigh Anne, son Billy Joe Wade and his wife Elvia and children Danielle, Abigail and Anthony, and grandchildren Madison and Nixon. Billy loved anything to do with the outdoors, riding his Goldwing from Mexico to Canada and floating down the Colorado River. He enjoyed camping in his travel trailer with Betty anywhere he could find a flat spot to put his ice chest full of Coors Light. He was always surrounded by friends, which is a true testimony of any person. When he and Betty moved to Mohave Valley they constantly had visitors. Many whom he befriended as the owner of Wade's New "O" in Adelanto and remained close with long after he sold the bar and moved away. Billy was a man's man who loved his family and they loved him back. He will be forever missed and never forgotten. As his family would say "the man you were made us the people we are". So I now will leave you with this quote from Albert Pike- What we have done for ourselves alone dies with us; what we have done for others and the world remains immortal. RIP Billy Wade There will be a service on Friday, April 26 starting at 1PM at Desert View Funeral Home & Memorial Park in Victorville. With a celebration of his life afterwords at his son Bart's home.
