LOUIE ESTEVES JR. 10/16/1978 - 5/8/2013 It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of Louie "Big Lou" Esteves Jr., our precious father, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend on May 8, 2013. To all that knew him, thank you for the fun, laughter and happiness you brought into his life. Louie was an integral part of our close and loving family, and our love for him will always be true and everlasting. Louie was born in Huntington Park, CA., on October 16, 1978, to Louie Esteves Sr. and Yvonne Espinoza. He was raised and lived 21 years in Victorville, graduating from Victor Valley High School in 1997. After graduation he enlisted into the Marine Corp, serving our country for four years until 2001. He later moved to Barstow, and was a resident of our community for the past 13 years. He was currently employed as a mechanic for Civil Service since 2004. During his free time, he was a big LA Raiders fan, loved to party with friends and family, do some heavy-duty weight-lifting, watch a good movie with Al Pacino and Robert De Niro, and yes find a good restaurant serving "sushi." But most of all, Louie wanted to be a great father to his three daughters. Louie is survived by his brother, Martin Esteves of Barstow; daughters, Genevieve, Neenah and Haelee Esteves, all of Silver Lakes; a nephew and niece, Anthony and Giavanna Esteves of Barstow; sister-in-law, Kristy Esteves of Barstow; brothers, Arthur and Tony Ayala of Victorville; sisters Bu Bu Rodriguez of Sacramento and Arthesia Ayala of Barstow. A Celebration of Louie's Life will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 505 East Mountain View in Barstow, on Wednesday May 22, 2013. Visitation and Rosary will begin at 9 a.m., with Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Arrangements entrusted to Horizon Memorial Services of Barstow.
