HUBER HEIGHTS — Annie Louise Schwegel, age 82, of Huber Heights, Ohio passed away June 17, 2014, which would have been the 86th birthdate of her beloved, deceased husband of 56 years, Harold, who preceded her in death. Annie was born August 30, 1931 in Montgomery, Alabama to the late Charles & Trudie Mae (McElvaine) Snell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Rose St. John and Virginia Andrews, as well as, one brother, Charles "Mike" Snell. Annie and her husband were lifetime members of both the Northridge Church of Christ and the Turner Road Church of Christ. They were the former owners of Wayne Office Supply in Huber Heights. Additionally, Annie's passion for many years was that of a pre-school teacher at Joyland Nursery School. "Miss Annie," took much pleasure in teaching the "Bunnies Class." She is survived by five children, Yolanda Baker, Gail Brown (Vernon), Dana Herreid (James Metz), Timothy Schwegel & Brian Schwegel (Kristina); seven grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; three sisters, Alexine Becker, Peggy Chesser & Cornelia Rae Sigmire; one brother, Walter K. Snell; and by numerous nieces, nephews & good friends. Murphy and Pebbles, her two much-loved, rescued dogs, cannot understand the loss of their best friend, but "To live in hearts we leave behind is not to die." Funeral services were held Sunday, June 22, at the GEORGE C. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, Northridge Chapel, 5040 Frederick Pike at Needmore Road, Dayton. Pastor Andrew Brewster officiating. Interment followed at Woodland Cemetery, Dayton. If friends desire, contributions may be made in memory of Annie to the Senior Resource Center (Meals on Wheels), 105 S.
