LIMA — Dora Lee Huffman, 74, of Lima, passed away at 12:44 p.m. Monday, May 29, 2017 at St. Rita's Hospice. She was born in New Freeport, Pennsylvania on October 2, 1942 to Hiram and Anna Virginia (Drummond) Berdine and they precede her in death. On November 18, 1961 she married Gary E. Huffman and he survives in Lima.

Also surviving are her children, Lee E. (Sharon) Huffman of Lima, Deborah L. (Jeffrey L.) Salyers of Spencerville and Gary D. (Trudy) Huffman of Huber Heights. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and two on the way, her siblings; Pastor Vernon "Kay" (Sue) Berdine of New Freeport, PA, Marty (Diana) Moninger of New Freeport, PA. Mrs. Huffman was preceded in death by a brother, George Berdine and a sister, Bobbie Ross.

Dora had been a Dental Assistant for Dr. George Hoge in Waynesburg, PA and became a Mother. She was a member of the Lima Baptist Temple and their choir. She loved to play volleyball, she was a member of Total Solutions Gym; she was famous for her chocolate chip cookies, she was a wonderful cook and baker. She also loved taking mission trips. She was a 1960 graduate of West Greene High School, Rogersville, PA. Her favorite Bible verse was Psalms 91; 11.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Hohman officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Family and friends may call Friday, June 2, 2017 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at SIFERD-ORIANS FUNERAL HOME. Memorial contributions can be made to Right to Life or to the .
